THANK YOU HOLLY JOHNSON. Mercy Alive Africa is delighted again to extend its Godly and warm greetings to you. We are also grateful and appreciative for Holly Johnson a volunteer from Canada who has spent time with the boys at the shelter every Thursday and Friday. The day she stated volunteering at MAA, she brought with her the spirit of hard work, self-motivation and self-driven, although having come from totally a different culture and background, she quickly dived in the new culture with all its challenges and birthed a new spirit of servant hood. She has been working in places and areas where she could easily fall sick, despite all these threatening circumstances; she did her best to cope up. We are thankful for the devotions and Art classes you had with the boys at the house, because we believe each of every lesson you have had with the boys has been positive in their lives and brought a change in their lives through encouragements and at the same time giving us a chance to hear from the boys and see how and where they see themselves in the years to come. We thank you very much Holly and we cannot wait to have you back. God bless you!.

A THANK YOU MESSAGE TO OUR VISITOR AND FRIEND FROM ENGLAND. Mercy Alive Africa is delighted again to extend its Godly and warm greetings to you. The Ministry takes it to its heart always to keep you updated on what is happening here on ground so that everyone is on the same page with us about life of the ministry and the latest progress. We are very glad to welcome Alice Caisley , a friend of Mercy Alive Africa from way back when we had just started, and has supported and helped us in many different ways. Alice visited the transitional house and spent time with the boys which was very encouraging for every one. We did a number of activities which were all aimed at engaging the boys and these included music, youth talks and Bible study which is the most important aspect in the lives of the boys. We are grateful and thankful for the time, we have spent with Alice and thank you for what you do for the boys everyday.
ALICE VISITS OUR PRIMARY BOYS. Samuel and Wycliff are our boys who are in primary seven this year, they are among the second group of boys to be in our transitional house. Ever since they joined us , Both Samuel and Wycliff showed us that they were ready to learn, obey and learning to start a new life. They were demoted to primary / form five, despite of their age, Wyciff accepted to study and he is the head boy of the school and one of the best in mathematics. We pray and hope for the best results after they do their National primary leaving Examinations. We are glad that Alice got to visit them at school, it is very encouraging for the boys to know on how much they are loved. Together as a team and the boys, we all are thankful for the many amazing and wonderful things Alice has done for the boys at the transitional house.
OUR STREET PROGRAM. Over past few weeks, we haven’t been able to give you updates about this specific program. Our heart as a ministry is that, looking at the boys we don’t see them as community problem in which they reside, we look at them in a constructive angle, help them to discover themselves, help them realise how potentially useful, they can be and supporting them to start a life. As a team working with such attitude on our minds, we were able to have a successful program; however, we are very thankful to our Lord God for providing us safety and a conducive environment, which gives us a room for a fun and more talks to be carried out. We are very grateful for, everyone standing with us in the campaign of transforming their live. Thanks from management.
Greetings to you all our precious and wonderful friends around the world, we believe that Our God will surely give you a wonderful weekend. Today we are delighted to share with you on how the boys are and what they are learning at the shelter. We thank God’s for his provision and for protecting the boys. We are also grateful and appreciative for Holly Johnson a volunteer from Canada who spends time with the boys at the shelter every Thursday and Friday. We are thankful that she is willing to come and share with the boys and teach them about God and also showing them how ART can be used to express their feelings through drawing among others. Thank you Holly Johnson and we welcome you to Mercy Alive Africa. We also give credit to those who talk to the boys who they meet on the streets, in taxi parks and on roads and find out how they live and survive, know what many of them go, every single word and advice counts.
Children's bibles, story books and Christian Teen Literature. Hoping that all is well with you, we would like to send you our heartfelt greetings to you, as we also wish you a productive week ahead. Today, we post while giving thanks to God first and to all of you, whom He has used to love, support and care about the street children. We appreciate and acknowledge our friend Alice Caisley for loving the boys and thank you for donating many Christian boys to us every single time. Sharing the love and hope of Christ is the mission of MAA. Every street outreach program includes a Bible story time and every evening at the shelter we have a Bible study every evening. Literacy is an essential part of the lives of our boys in the shelter. At the moment we are reading ‘’ GROWING UP GOD’S WAY FOR BOYS’’. In this book, various topics are talked about especially how to handle and deal with the puberty and adolescence (Teen age) in a Godly way.
Ways and how prayer has helped in the transform of the boys! Prayer is communication or a conservation many of us have with God every single day in our lives. It is very vital for every person to spare time and pray for ourselves and other people such as our families, friends among others. It is worthy to note that, for the period we have been with them, we have truly seen a significant impact of Prayer made on their lives amidst hard life they face both on the streets during day and night and also were they live in, stay and play from. We are very happy that every day we spend and meet the boys we pray with them and we have seen so many miracles, prayer has brought in their lives, it has transformed many boys who were so worse and at first it seemed like the boys themselves could not see change but still they prayed for many challenges that they go through such as drug use, aviation fuel, fighting/violence among others. We report now that such bad behaviors have to a great extent reduced amongst them. The above is what we always pray for, to see children grow up with values and hearts of love as one desired by Jesus Christ, We share with them. By continuing to do what we are doing both during street outreaches, at the shelter and when we meet one on one, we hope to see bigger cycles being broken, we dream and see us being able to support many of these children be in schools and learn like other children across the world. We aim at supporting many of them grow physically, emotionally and spiritually by way of receiving from our balanced programs which are well researched and thought of by our committed staffs who have served both this organization and God ‘s children with love. Whatever milestone, this ministry is currently enjoying, it cannot go without the mention and appreciation every single person who has ever prayed and donated so as to support the boys. Thank you, Let’s continue praying for our friends ,street children and our families.
